Ali Cardaropoli was born in Los Angeles, California where she was quickly diagnosed with many learning differences including Dyslexia and ADHD. She spent her childhood struggling to read and write until her family moved to Dallas, Texas when she was twelve. Ali was thirteen-years-old when she learned to read and write, and quickly fell in love. Despite the challenges of her Dyslexia, Ali turned that love into her passion, and went on receive a Creative Writing Degree from Oklahoma City University.
Ali’s love of books combined with her childhood struggles is what inspired Ali to write young adult literature.
Ali currently lives in McKinney, Texas with her dog, Tucker.
